1. Independent
Reviews.
Please
see below some of the magazine reviews from the past few years. The latest
one is from OE, OUTDOOR ENTHUSIAST MAGAZINE March 2011.
2. New
Products
2.1During 2010 we have added a new Ladies range to our product list. This
consists of three models, the Cumulus Lady 350,
500 and 650. These are a developement
from our Mysterious Traveller range of sleeping bags, but are shorter.
They contain the same quality and the same amount of goose down, but this
has been redistributed to provide additional filling in the base and feet
area. In addition, the Cumulus Lady models incorporate a polar fleece
insert in the foot area to provide additional warmth and comfort.
2.2 We
have also introduced full length, Expander Baffles,
which are available in both summer and winter versions. These Expander
Baffles are intended to enable stouter users to fit more comfortably into
our sleeping bags. The baffles zip in along the length of our sleeping
bags and are compatible with our entire range.
3. New
Designs
During 2010 we redesigned the retaining flap
on all of our sleeping bags to give it a more stylish and smoother, curved
appearance.
We have also introduced a new style of closer fitting HOOD
design on the Cumulus Prime, Cumulus Lady, and Mysterious Traveller sleeping
bags.
4. Latest
'Cumulus in Action' Expedition (updated January 2012)
Towards the end
of 2009 we supplied 12 Cumulus Quantum 350
sleeping bags for an expedition along the Skeleton Coast of Namibia. The
Cumulus Quantum 350 was chosen by the expedition leader, Jason De Carteret,
because of its fantastic warmth-to-weight ratio. This trek involved all
team members carrying their own equipment and supplies for 300 miles along
one of the World's most inhospitable terrains. Post-expedition comment
by Jason De Carteret 'Brilliant Kit !'.
