Down Quality :
Fabric Type - English and, new in 2007, Japanese Pertex Fabric :
Note. The weights of the Mitsui Pertex fabrics, as given above, are slightly greater than for the corresponding English Pertex. The result will be an increase in the overall weight of our sleeping bags by about 30 to 35 grams once we have switched over to all-Japanese Pertex.

User heights - Cumulus
Quantum & Ultralight, 185 cm (6'1"); others, 190 cm (6'3").
The Expedition range and all Microlight models (except Cumulus Ultralight) have
insulated neck baffles. Neck baffle drawcords are elasticated.
Quantum models have neck warmers (a simplified type of neck baffle).
All of our models have been independently tested for temperature performance - please see bottom of this page.

Power (Loft) (Fill Power is the volume in cubic inches to which 30 gms of
down will expand when it lofts)
Fill
Volume (Fill volume is the volume to which the TOTAL of all the down in
the sleeping bag will expand when lofted. The greater the FILL VOLUME, the warmer
the sleeping bag - all other things being equal.

All of the Cumulus models have been independently tested for warmth by Leeds University Performance Clothing Research Group. The results for all of our models were at least as good as stated above - and were better in most cases.
