Cumulus on Shisha Pangma

light as a cloud - on top of the World

Winter 2003/04. Expedition led by Jan Szulc

Shisha Pangma is the World's fourteenth highest mountain, being one of the 8000 metre peaks. It is located almost due north of Kathmandu, on the Tibet side of the border and was first climbed in 1964. Cumulus sleeping bags reached a height of 7800 metres during the 2003/04 winter expedition, which is reputed to be the highest winter level for any sleeping bag on any climb.
